Mastichari Bay Story
Dear Guests

The Mastichari Bay hotel is owned and run by the Amallos family. The family's origin is on the one hand from the village of Antimachia and it's offspring Mastichari and on the other from the island of Kalymnos. In 1967 because of difficult economic conditions in Greece the family moved to Canada where it successfully developed a number of business ventures.

Ultimately, their love for the land of their ancestors lured them back in order to build the dream of a lifetime:

a hotel so hospitable that it's guests would truly feel at HOME

Our goal has been to offer you a myriad of small pleasures to make your stay more enjoyable. The small stone paths lead you to every corner of our establishment which has been built in keeping with the traditional Dodecanesian architecture, while a multitude of herbs, flowers and plants, naturally decorate the surroundings. Our attention is also focused on the quality of the food we offer. In order to achieve that, we have created our own farm just a few hundred meters away from the hotel where we lovingly grow a variety of fruits and vegetables, that we diligently use in our daily cuisine, often adapting the menu to the availability of fresh produce. Our spacious comfortable room offers you the WARMEST of welcomes.

More than ten years have passed since our first guest arrived. The hotel has been renovated twice, and technological upgrades have been implemented aiming to protect our precious environment. All through these years our objective has remained the same:
